DUBAI: Pakistan young batsman Ahmed Shahzad participation in first T20 match on Thursday in Dubai against New Zealand is in doldrums as he has suffered from severe fever.
Team management has linked his participation to the match to fitness.
The star Pakistani opener also had severely injured in first test match against New Zealand and his skull was fractured but later he was recovered from illness.
His performance in the test match was outstanding as he scored his career best 176 runs.
