Rs260 bln of corruption cases recovered by NAB

KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has claimed to recovered Rs260 billion during investigation of corruption cases while number of cases is under way.

In an interview with official media Altaf Pirzado, Director Investigation NAB Sindh, Fayyaz Ahmed Qureshi said that NAB has also entrusted with powers to scrutinize the contracts involving amount of over five hundred million rupees.

 He said NAB Sindh so far has recovered an amount of over four billion rupees this year.

 He said complaints regarding food, communication, works services and Town Municipal Corporation in the province are under investigation.

He appealed to the people to cooperate with NAB officials so that dream of making the society free of corruption could come true.
