KARACHI: A Cessna jet on training flight night crashed near super highway of Karachi on Friday while three persons were reportedly on board in the plane.
Initial reports said that two persons were serious wounded in the incident while the trainer jet caught huge fire after it hit the ground, police sources said.
The incident took place 20 km away from the Super Highway of Karachi while the plane crashed in Gadap Town.
Some local news channels reports said that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) mirage fighter jet was crashed during the training flight which took off from Masroor Airbase.
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesperson confirmed that a Cessna trainer jet with three persons on board crashed near Super Highway Karachi and a team of safety investigation board has been dispatched to the location.
However, the spokesperson denied to provide further information before investigation about the casualties in the incident.
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) sources said that they started investigation about the incident.
