Saeed Ajmal likely to be included in World Cup 2014 squad

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Saturday started consultation to include star spinner Saeed Ajmal in World Cup 2014 squad despite ban imposed by ICC.


Saeed Ajmal is facing ban from the International Cricket Council (ICC) in September due to controversial bowling style illegal for all deliveries.

However, the cricket board started thinking to name Saeed Ajmal for upcoming World Cup squad and decided to test the spinner again in December.

According to reports, Saeed Ajmal action was action was deemed to be illegal due to his movement on level of 25 degree.

Ajmal asked to improve his bowling action till January 7 unless he would lose all chances to join his teammates in upcoming international tournament in 2015.
