PHF to take hockey team for Umrah

KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation will take the national team for Umrah after Champions Trophy. 

According to reports, all players will meet Prime Minister Pakistan Nawaz Sharif on November 19.

At a ceremony here on Wednesday evening, the PHF Secretary Rana Mujahid said the federation needed at least Rs 20 million for team’s participation  in the Champions Trophy.

Mujahid said he had sent a summary to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif requesting Rs 500 million for PHF, but the summary has not yet been approved.
