Younis Khan breaks Sachin Tendulkar’s record

ABU DHABI: Former Pakistan skipper Younis Khan broke master blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s record of scoring most runs in a two-match series.

Star batsman Younis scored 46 runs in the second innings of the second test. He had scored 106, 103 not out and 213 in the previous three innings, making it 468 runs in the two-match series. Tendulkar, the previous record holder, had scored 403 runs.

Younis also set a record of scoring three consecutive centuries against Australia.
