Shutter down strike being observed in Quetta

QUETTA: A shutter-down strike is being observed in Quetta on Friday against against Thursday’s killings and suicide attack on JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to reports, as many as 14 people were killed in three different incidents including the suspected suicide attack on the JUI-F chief. Eight people lost their lives when unknown gunmen spared volley of bullets on a bus carrying the ethnic Hazara community people.

Amid the strike, all public transport buses remained off the road while schools, colleges, offices and shops and markets also remained closed in protest against the terrorist incidents.
