Kursheed Kasori handed Aafia to Americans: Pervaiz Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Information and Broadcasting Minister Pervaiz Rasheed said Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was with former president  Pervez Musharraf when Dr. Aafia Siddiqui was handed over to Americans.

Federal Minister Pervaiz Rasheed alleged that PIT leader Khursheed Kasori handed Dr. Aafia Siddiqi to Americans.

In Imran Khan’s Lahore speech on September 29, he  once again raised voice in favor of Dr Aafia Siddiqi and told the her uncle met him and share important things about Aafia.

Earlier, In September 2008 on charges of attempted murder and assault stemming from an incident in an interview with US authorities in Ghazni, charges which Siddiqui denied.

After 18 months in detention, she was tried and convicted in early 2010 and sentenced to 86 years in prison.
