Fire extinguished at PTCL building in Lahore

LAHORE: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) building at Egerton Road in Lahore was put out on Sunday afternoon.

The fire erupted at the fourth floor of the building and engulfed fifth and third floor of the building also. It was brought under control after hectic efforts of three hours.

The fire suspended PTCL’s landline and internet services in several areas of the city. Majority of the PTCL connections within the provincial capital stopped working after the fire.

The PTCL officials said that it will take 3-4 days to restore the services in all areas of the city.
