BANGALORE: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Perth Scorchers (PS) by 13 runs in 14th match of Champions League T20 (CLT20) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Perth Scorcher couldn’t manage to chase respectable 156 runs target. Skipper Adam Voges scored 27 runs while Ashton Turner scored 22 runs.
Nathan Coulter tried his best to get closer to the target but restricted with some excellent bowling by CSK.
He scored 30 runs to guide Perth Scorchers to 142 on loss of 7 wickets.
Ravichandran Ashwin took 3 wickets for Chennai Super Kings.
Earlier, Chennai Super Kings batting first lost have the disappointed start but Dwayne Bravo who scored 27 runs got the team back on track.
Ravindra Jadeja played brilliantly for his 44 runs while Skipper MS Dhoni once again steal the show with his blistering 35 runs at the end of the innings to guide the total to 155 runs on loss of 6 wickets.
