‘Pakistan committed to CASA 1000, TAPI pipeline’: Aizaz Chaudhry

NEW YORK: Pakistan foreign secretary Aizaz Chaudhry has said that Pakistan supports Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) countries for developing economic relations on the lines of EU and ASEAN countries for more prosperity in the member countries.

The foreign secretary was addressing world anti terrorism forum’s fifth ministerial meeting on the occasion of United Nation General Assembly session.

He said Pakistan was committed to implement CASA 1000 and TAPI gas pipeline projects, which would be given final shape soon, so that the country could end its energy crisis, and benefit more and more people of the region.

He highlighted the efforts of the government of Pakistan in dealing with the scourge of terrorism as well as the numerous sacrifices rendered by the people of Pakistan and its law enforcement agencies in this struggle.
