LAHORE: Government of Punjab has issued saving policy for ongoing fiscal year 2014-2015 which barred new recruitments in all government departments.
As per policy buying of new cars for Punjab government offices will also be banned.
The saving policy also imposed banned on member of provincial assemblies (MPA’s), government officers and ministers not to travel abroad on the provincial government expenses.
Education and Health ministries are directed to take permission from Chief Ministers (CM) before purchasing new vehicles, the policy stated.
