Army rescue operations continue for flood affectees

RAWALPINDI: Army rescue operations are continuing for the flood-affected areas in Jhang, Muzaffargarh and Multan on September 13.

According to ISPR, 16 medical relief camps have been established by army in Multan and Jhang.

Army distributed around 59 tons of food items among the flood-affected people. including biscuits, dates and dry milk, ISPR said.

Seven helicopters and 335 boats are being used in rescue operation in these areas, ISPR said.
