KARACHI: A bomb blast has been reported near Nursery on Shara-e-Faisal on Wednesday morning in Karachi, inuring four policemen,Dunya News reported.
According to the details, the bomb was planted in a motorcycle and exploded outside police 15 check post near Nursery.
According to the media, blast was so intense that it was heard far and wide and glasses of nearby buildings were smashed.
Police and Rangers have cordoned off the area.
An official said it was a hand grenade attack.
Injured policemen were Abdul Haleem, Mahiwal, Nasir and Maqsood.
Inspector General Sindh (IGH) Ghulam Qadir Thebo has said that motorcycle riders thrown grenade on police 15 check post at Nursery near Shahra-e Faisal and fled.
Investigation into the incident has been initiated, IG said.
culprit of the event would be arrested and strict punishment would be given, IG sindh added.
