LAHORE: Anti-Terrorism Act has been added in the First Investigation Report (FIR) of Model Town case; accusing 21 persons including Pakistani Prime Minister, Chief Minister Punjab, federal lawmakers and police officials.
Anti-Terrorism Act has reportedly included against the 21 accused persons over involvement in Model Town incident, where 14 activists of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) were killed during police operation, local media reported on Monday (today).
The newly imposed acts include 296B, 365, 452 and 7-TA, police said.
According to reports, PAT lawyers were apprised regarding the development in the Model Town case.
It should be mentioned here PAT chief Tahirul Qadri had rejected the FIR registration without addition of terrorism acts against the suspects.
