Situation still tense in red zone, injured total rise 467

ISLAMABAD: The situation is still tense in the red zone as around 467 persons have been injured in the police action against protesters since last night.

According to the media reports police have taken actions against the protesters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) after they tried to enter parliament, and PM house.

Fresh contingents of police have been called to disperse the protesters and police were facing intense resistance from the protesters.

Police have fired tear gas and rubber bullets on the protesters and used clubs as well to beat the protesters.

Total 467 persons have been injured which included 72 police personnel and five media persons.
