ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Friday approved Central Power Purchasing Authority’s (CPPA) summary of increasing electricity rate.
According to reports, CPPA have sent the summary to increase RS 0.43 per unit rate of electricity in according to fuel adjustment which was approved by NEPRA today.
The fuel per unit was cost Rs 7.47 till July while the actual production fuel cost was Rs 7.49 per unit.
NEPRA will hear the CPPA request on August 26.
