‘Nawaz Sharif will not resign as Pakistan PM’

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the election premier Nawaz Sharif would not resign from his post at any cost.

Ishaq Dar told media on Tuesday said, Pakistan is successfully meeting its financial targets, with increment of per head income up to 3 percent.

Pakistani GDP also increased under leadership of PM Nawaz Sharif while 16 percent foreign investments have been made since last year.

While revealing the national treasury details, Dar said foreign exchange reserves reached up to $140.3 million including deposits of State Bank of Pakistan reached $90.3 million dollars while $50 billion in scheduled banks.

Pakistan government has set its target to raise exchange reserves up to $15 billion; which is likely to be achieved in current fiscal year, he added.

Dar said that they have to work more to gain prosperity as particular nation.

The finance minister urged the political opponents to resolve all differences and issues on table as parliament is the best platform to hold talks under circumstances of the Constitution.

He further said that the political parties in country unanimously agreed to keep parliament and democracy on its track.
