KARACHI: Sindh Rangers has released activities’ details of nine months long targeted operation commenced in Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.
Rangers spokesperson uncovered the details before media on Tuesday that 3285 raids carried out in the metropolis while 2778 arrestments including 12 high-profile terrorists were made since last nine months.
The arrested persons include 150 target killers, 213 extortionists, 27 kidnappers, 12 terrorists, as well as recovered large amount of ammunition, rocket launchers, Awan rockets, Kalashnikov, pistols and other various genres of weapons.
He said that the security agency have killed 178 criminals in 128Â armed action carried out against the criminals.
The paramilitary forces spokesperson said that 15 Rangers officials were killed in the attacks while 143 got injured in the targeted actions conducted in sensitive areas of Karachi.
