Colombo test Day 4: Sri Lanka sets 369 runs target against South Africa

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka on Sunday declared its second inning after having lead of 369 runs against in 2nd test day fourth played at Sinhalese Sports club.

Host continued their second innings with 11 runs on board without losing any wicket. Sri Lankan team managed to add 218 runs before declaring the innings with 2 wickets to spare.

Kumar Sangakkara score a brilliant half century. He made 72 runs for the team while skipper played a great knock of unbeaten 68 runs, leading the team to reach the total of 229 runs with two wickets in hand.

Morne Morkel took 4 wickets for the protease.

South Africa need 369 runs to win the test match with one day remaining in the play.
