Poisonous liquor claims seven lives in Rahim Yar Khan

RAHIM YAR KHAN: At least seven people lost their lives after consuming poisonous liquor in Rahim Yar Khan of the Pakistan’s Punjab province on Saturday.


According to a private TV channel, four of the deceased passed away in Liaquatpur hospital while the two others died in a hospital in Bahawalpur.

Six of the deceased were identified as Abbas, Amin, Shaukat, Ashiq Hussain, Ilyas and Muhammad Iqbal. They were all residents of Kachi Mandi. According to reports, they purchased the liquor from a man named Arjun Syal.
