Eid-ul-Fitr: Five-day holidays announced in Balochistan

QUETTA: Balochistan government has announced five-day official holidays for upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr festival in Pakistan.


Balochistan government will also celebrate a day off on July despite the other three provinces to observe four-day holidays.

According to a notification issued by the provincial government, all the government institutions will remain closed from Monday, July 28 to Friday, August 1.

Earlier, the holidays were announced from Tuesday, July 29 to August 1 by the Balochistan government.

During the Eid holidays, the Chief Secretary Balochistan has instructed all the divisional commissioners, regional police officers, deputy commissioners, district police officers and assistant commissioners to remain present on their respective deployments.
