Colombo test Day 2: South Africa scores 98 runs on loss of 3 wickets against Sri Lanka  

COLOMBO: South Africa on Friday scored 98 runs on loss of 3 wickets against Sri Lanka in 2nd Test day 2 played at Sinhalese Sports Club.

The visitors in reply to massive total of 421 runs, lost both the openers early in the innings. Skipper Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis took the responsibility and built 58 runs partnership for the third wicket.

Du Plessis lost his wicket after scoring 36 runs while Hashim Amla scored unbeaten 46 runs with AB De Villiers’s 11 runs.

Suranga Lakmal and Rangana Herath took one wicket each for Sri lanka.
