PESHAWAR: At least six suspected militants have been killed on Wednesday morning due to a U.S. drone attack in Pakistan’s tribal region of North Waziristan.
According to intelligence sources, the target of the drone attack was a house and a vehicle in Miranshah, a district of North Waziristan.
Militants who died in the attack have not been identified yet.
It is the third US drone attack in June. Earlier this month, two drone attacks have killed 16 suspected militants in Pakistan’s tribal region of North Waziristan.
Intelligence sources told AFP that today’s attack has killed four Uzbek and two Punjabi Taliban.
