KARACHI: Board of Intermediate Education of Karachi (BIEK) on Thursday announced new dates of the examination papers which were cancelled due to deteriorated peace situation in Karachi during last three days.
Senior official of the board made the announcement for the new examination dates pertaining the cancelled papers on June 3, 4 and 5 respectively of current educational year.
According to the notification, examination paper scheduled on June 3 would be held on June 11; June 4 paper on June 12 and June 5 paper would be taken on June 14.
The examination papers were cancelled following disturbed law and order condition in Karachi after Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain’s detainment which sparked protests across the metropolis since last three days.
