MIRANSHAH: At least eight security officials have lost their lives while several got injured following a powerful roadside bomb explosion took place in Miranshah, a prominent town of Pakistan’s North Waziristan Agency (NWA).
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan’s military public relation department, confirmed that eight security officials were killed while several injured following a planted bomb blast in Miranshah.
The explosives were installed at Ghulam Khan Road of the city, however, the figure of injured security personnels is still unknown.
Injured security officials and dead bodies have been shifted to nearby hospital, reports said.
It should be mentioned that the incident took place in militant-held area of Miranshah besides ongoing negotiation process between Pakistani government and banned militant outfit Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
