ISLAMABAD: At least 30 suspects have been arrested by police in a search operation after yesterday’s high intensity blast in Fruit Mandi, media reported.
The blast claimed 23 lives and many others were injured.
According to sources, police have deployed four investigation teams to search for suspects. The teams have been sent to Multan, Kabirwala, Burewala and Arifwala.
Some Afghan refugees have also been arrested in search operation conducted in I-11, I-10 and slum areas of Islamabad.
However, the United Baloch Army (UBA) has claimed the responsibility for the attack.
