KARACHI: A low intensity blast near Khalid Bin Waleed mosque located in Gulshan-e-Hadeed Phase -2, late Monday night injured one person.
The blast was so powerful that it was heard across the area. The glass-panes of the masjid were smashed and walls of the holy place were said to be partially damaged.
According to the Rescue sources, a man has sustained injuries in the blast.
It should be mentioned here that this is a third incident in which a mosque or seminaries belonging to a particular school of thought has been targeted.
This is the third blast in Sindh today, attacking religious centres of the same school of thought. The first one took place in Karachi’s NIPA chowrangi while the other took place in Sanghar district’s Shahdadpur city.
