LAHORE: Leader of the Opposition, Syed Khursheed Shah has opposed the inclusion of military in negotiations process with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and suggested the Government to let the process remain neutral.
Talking to media at Lahore airport today, Khursheed while criticizing Imran Khan’s offer to Taliban to open their office in Peshawar suggested that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief or the Chief Minister Pervez Khattak should join the negotiations team.
Speaking about NAB references against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership, Shah demanded the Prime Minister to take notice of it for such acts are against the democracy.
The Opposition Leader said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) has also been through the difficulties faced by PPP these days in Punjab. He claimed that the party will soon flourish there.
Commenting on drought deaths in Tharparkar district of Sindh, Khursheed Shah said deaths were caused due to a natural calamity, whereas an action has also been taken against the ones demonstrating negligence, yet the media has exaggerated things too.
