DHAKA: Champion of 2012, Pakistan team is ready to get the third time of Asia Cup title, where Green Shirts is going to defend the mega event title against Sri Lanka here on Saturday (today) at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka have played so far their 13 matches of Asia Cup, in which Green Shirts won four matches while Sri Lankan Tigers got nine victories against Pakistan.
Both teams played five matches in the National Stadium, in which Pakistan won three while Sri Lanka won two matches.
Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 2 runs in the final match of Asia Cup 2012 on same venue at Shere Bangla National Stadium, but today Green Shirts will fight against Sri Lanka at same venue of Bangladesh.
