RAWALPINDI: Significant developments has made in favour of food shortage victims in drought region of Sindh province, the Pakistani military on Friday has announced its relief missions for famine-hit area of Tharparker.
Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that special contingents comprising of military personnels have been dispatched from Hyderabad for Tharparker.
Military personnels were sent along with essential food supplies and medical equipments in order to provide rapid relief for the victims.
Teams of female doctors, paramedical staff, large quantity of medicines, necessary relief materials and camps has also been dispatched, ISPR said.
It should be mentioned famine claimed more than 121 lives including innocent children in majority at desert region of Tharparker till yet; now gained special attention of federal, provincial governments who has announced making quick and maximum arrangements to tackle the worsening situations.
