ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan has paid heavy price of terrorism and the government will eradicate any sought of terrorism from the country.
He was said this while in a meeting with the committee formed by the government and the Taliban here on Thursday.
The PM said categorically that it was his duty as a head of the state to end bloodshed and establish peace in the country.
He said that the government has a wish for a successful peace talks to maintain law and order situation in the country which was the need of the hour.
He informed both the committee members that peace efforts will be continued whereas suggestion given by Taliban committee will also be considered.
The PM said it his constitutional, religious, moral and political responsibility that to take into the confidence all the sides resolve the issues with consultation.
He said that the protection of life and assets of the people of Pakistan was the first priority of the government.
