Islamabad: Accused of treason case Pervez Musharraf has submitted a request before the special court to go abroad, media reported.
He has debated, in his application, that he looks healthy but in reality, he is severely ill.
One of his arguments are based on the fact that former President Asif Ali Zardari and current Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif went abroad for their treatment and that’s why he should be allowed too.
Musharraf has said further that according to the FIC medical report, he can suffer from a heart attack any time.
And he also has some reservation from being treated by FIC as his father was also treated in FIC and he died which has left a deep mark on Musharraf and that’s why he does not want to be treated in FIC.
Musharraf said he is not ready to take any risk and he wants to be treated in the US from Dr Arjamand Hashmi.
He has also requested that his mother, 94 years old, is in Dubai and she is suffering from many ailments. And Musharraf wants to see her and therefore he should be permitted to travel to Dubai too.
He has also said that he would appear before the court whenever the judges require it.
The special court is considering Musharraf’s request and will pass the judgment on 7 of March.
