ISLAMABAD: Imam-e-Kaba urged Taliban to quit armed struggle and resolve all issues through dialogues. He said shedding the blood of Muslims in an Islamic state is wrong and un-islamic.
Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-S) and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) nominated committee leader Maulana Samiul Haq, went to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah last week where he met with the Imam-e-Kaba.
According to reports, the religious party leader requested Sheikh Saleh bin Hameed to play his role in convincing the Taliban who have been engaged by the government in a negotiation process aimed at restoration of peace in Pakistan.
Maulana Samiul Haq, is likely to convey a message of Imam-e-Kaba Sheikh Saleh bin Hameed, to the hardliner militant organisation.
