KARACHI: WWF-Pakistan arranged “Nature Carnival” at PAF Museum Karachi. The Institute of Environmental Studies, University of Karachi, got 1st position in the competition among varsities under theme of “Environmental Management System”.
The Carnival provides the platform for the students to display their projects and activities to conserve the nature and natural resources.
In continuation of present success, Institute also won prizes in the last year Carnival. There was an overwhelming participation of students from educational institutions of Karachi in the Carnival.
In the another event, organized by Pakistan Red Crescent Society two final year students Miss. Sajida Khalid got award of Best Participant of Project Development Competition and Miss. Nazia Mughal awarded best volunteer in the event of International Volunteer Day- 2013.
