MIRPUR: Sri Lankan batsman Kumar Sangakara has broken another runs record of his teammate former skipper Sanath Jayasuriya after knocking outstanding century in the second One-Day International (ODI) against Bangladesh at Shere Bangla National Stadium.
Sangakara became the first Sri Lankan batsman to cross 1,000 runs milestone against Bangal Tigers.
Jayasuriya had made 1,030 runs in his 22 matches; while Sangakara scored so far 1,099 runs in his 29 matches against Bangladesh.
