DUBAI: Pakistan cricket team has beaten rivals Scotland by 146 runs in a Group A match of ICC Under 19 World Cup here at ICC Academy ground.
Pakistan’s U-19 team won the toss and chose to bat first and put 308 on board.
One of the openersĀ Imam-ul-Haq scored 133 runs while Hasan Raza made a half century.
Scotland’s Sole took 3 wickets for 69 runs.
Scotland U-19s were all out for 162 with the only notable contribution coming from opener Andrew Umeed who scored 65 runs.
Pakistan’s Karamat Ali took 5 wickets in 7.5 overs only giving away 36 runs.
Player of the match award went to Imam-ul-Haq for his blistering knock of 133.
