ISLAMABAD: Leader of the government nominated committee Irfan Siddiqui expressed satisfaction after hearing Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) demands here on Tuesday.
Maulana Yusuf Shah and Professor Ibrahim gave a short briefing about TTP’s demands and motives to Mr. Siddiqui as the two came after meeting Taliban’s political council in North Waziristan yesterday.
Mr. Siddiqui further said that he will continue the dialogue process in positive manner and termed the Taliban demands as “satisfactory”
While the leader of Taliban nominated committee Maulana Sami-ul-Haq praised Taliban by saying that they have shown far sightedness and goodwill in their demands and he along with other members of the committee will try to reach a cease fire agreement in the first place.
Both were talking to the media after the meeting and refused to talk much about the briefing besides calling the process and progress hopeful.
