Islamabad: The government on Saturday has provided a ‘helicopter’ to the Taliban nominated committee to travel Waziristan for a meeting with the leadership.
According to sources, the government provided the helicopter on the demand of the Taliban as their committee could be targeted which sabotaged the dialogue process.
Now, the Taliban committee comprised of Maulana Sami ul Haq, Professor Ibrahim and Maulana Abdul Aziz could travel in one or two days to discuss the future strategy regarding the dialogue process with the government.
The head of the caretaker committee of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Qari Shakil, on Wednesday demanded the government that a helicopter should be provided to the committee to protect the dialogue committee from any danger.
