Washington: Another achievement for famous all-rounder of Pakistan, Shahid Afridi who succeeded to get an honorary keys from port of Arthur, a city in Jefferson County due to his outstanding cricket career.
According to reports, due to this award, port of Arthur would celebrate February 5 as Shahid Afridi day every year.
The all-rounder said it was a great honour for him to get this award and praise over his international career.
It is to be mentioned here that Pakistan Army chief Gen Raheel Sharif awarded a souvenir to boom boom Afridi last month.
During his 17-year ODI career, Afridi represented Pakistan in 373 matches, scoring 7,516 runs besides taking 375 wickets. He has also played 70 T20 matches scoring 1,044 runs besides claiming 73 wickets.
In 27 Test matches, Afridi scored 1,716 and captured 48 wickets.
Also, he held the world record of scoring the fastest century against Sri Lanka which has broken recently by a Kiwi all-rounder Corey Anderson.
