KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) organised a rally to show solidarity with party’s founder and chief Altaf Hussain near the Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum in Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.
Adressing thousands of attendants, MQM Rabita Committee (RC) convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that if British media and government think that Altaf Hussain is a criminal, than we all are like him. Those trying MQM founder on media will one day take back their words and ask forgiveness.
Another RC member, Amir Khan expressed his aim to unearth all conspiracies against his party besides saying that only Altaf Hussain raises voice against evil forces.
While MQM’s MNA and veteran leader Dr. Farooq Sattar said that party’s media trial has crossed borders and now it is being defamed in international media claiming that British media aired fake news of Lahore’s occupation by Indian forces in 1965 Pak-India war.
The rally attended by thousands was organized after British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) ran the second part of documentary covering MQM’s veteran leader Imran Farooq’s murder and money laundering case against MQM Chief, which the party thinks is a propaganda against its respected position and its founder and chief Altaf Hussain.
