Washington: As Samsung is eyeing to introduce Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, now new report reveal that device could feature an AMOLED display.
Indian import-export website Zauba listed an unknown Samsung device with a model number SM-T330 as arriving in the port of Bangalore for testing.
The screen size on the device was mentioned at 8 inches. A device with the same model number was also seen undergoing certification at the Bluetooth SIG.
The SM-T330 model number means that this tablet could very well turn out to be the next Galaxy Tab. The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 featured model numbers SM-T310 / SM-T311 / SM-T315, and the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 came with model numbers SM-T320 / SM-T325.
Samsung has already launched a host of tablets this year. Three tablets were launched in the Galaxy Tab Pro series, in addition to a Galaxy Note 12.2 Pro.
More tablets are scheduled to be announced at the Mobile World Congress next month, so we should have more information on the mysterious SM-T330 device then. Earlier yesterday, it was revealed that Samsung is looking to manufacture AMOLED screens for 8-inch and 10-tablets, so this device could be the first tablet to feature an AMOLED screen.
