ISLAMABAD – Federal Interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan briefed the participants of PML-N Parliamentary Party meeting about National Security Policy of Pakistan, media reported.
According to Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, “The policy has been made considering all possible aspects. National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) will play the central role in handling terrorism.”
He added, “A new special procedure will be established to identify terrorists. Intelligence agencies will be stronger than ever to ensure national security.”
The members of PML-N Parliamentary Party hinted that the issue of negotiations with the Talibans will also be discussed in the meeting.
