BEIJING: The Chinese private sector showed interest in investment in different projects of alternate energy resources in Pakistan during a meeting of Pakistan-China Energy Group held on Tuesday.
Pakistan-China Energy Group held its meeting in Beijing on Tuesday where the Pakistani delegation at the meeting was led by Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif.
The meeting was also attended by forty-two private Chinese companies.
During the meeting‚ the Chinese private sector showed interest in investment in different projects of alternate energy resources in Pakistan.
Hydel power company‚ Three Gorges showed interest in construction of Diamer Bhasha Dam.
Addressing the meeting‚ Khawaja Asif said that China has always stood by Pakistan in hour of crisis.
