SHARJAH: India under-19 team has won the final One-Day International Asia-Cup against Pakistan by 40 runs at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan under-19 had opted to field first after winning the toss in the final match against India.
India had given the massive 314 runs target to Pakistan in 50 overs.
Indian Skipper Vijay Zol and Vice Skipper cum Wicket-Keeper Sanju Samson had established marvelous 180 runs partnership against Pakistan.
Both the batsmen scored 100 runs each in the match.
Pakistan batsman Kamran Ghulam had made century 102 runs and remained not out, while Skipper Sami Aslam had scored 87 runs in the final match.
High scoring innings by both the batsmen could not help Pakistan to win the title.
