Islamabad: The Pakistan’s Information Minister Pervez Rasheed on Friday has given a offer to former president Pervez Musharaf that either he can visit his ailing mother in Dubai orĀ in other case the government ready to facilitate his mother for treatement in Pakistan.
Talking to media, the minister said that the government was ready to send a special plane or air ambulance to bring former presidentās mother to Pakistan.
He said that through this Musharaf can live with her mother and also his wish could be fulfilled to take care of her.
On a querry regarding safe-exit deals, Rasheed rejected such humours and said that the offer has has been given on humanitarian ground.
Musharraf had filed a petition to the Sindh High Court (SHC), seeking removal of his name from the Exit Control List so that he could see his 95-year-old mother who was seriously ill in Dubai.
In reply, the SHC given a verdict in which it advised the former president to contact federal government or the trial court regarding this relief.
