PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has maintained its record for maintaining reformations as now handed over modern SIM technology to the police department on Friday for scrutinising the vehicles’ registration.
The Pakistan’s provincial government of KPK has empowered the police department with a new technology for seizure of illegal vehicles across the province via usage of special purpose SIMs.
According to reports, the provincial authorities distributed 75 SIMs amongst the police officials in specific districts of KPK in the initiation phase of the newly launched programme.
The programme showed rapid and significant result as the law enforcement agency officials seized more than 100 vehicles with illegal registration within one week.
