ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s opposition leadership has firmed to hold strong protest against the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar over his alleged negative statements over their respective parties.
The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have stopped their members of National Assembly from attending the session on Thursday (today).
The PPP affiliated opposition leader in NA, Khursheed Shah, directed the party members individually via telephonic conversation from his chamber to avoid entering the lower house.
On the other hand, PTI’s prominent leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi also ordered his party leaders to skip the NA’s session today till the interior minister takes back the controversial statement.
The opposition members would be gathered in the NA’s lobby and will avoid the lower house meetings till the interior minister Chaudhry Nisar decides to take back his negative remarks regarding the opposition parties.
