LAHORE: The Pakistan’s provincial government of Punjab has announced the opening of hunting session across the province but within defined period.
Punjab government has formally announced the permission for hunting partridges via legal notification as the huntsmen could enjoy the moments from December 15 to February 15.
The hunters could avail the governmental permission for hunting the partridges by submitting shooting licence, local newspaper reported.
According to governmental regulations, maximum six partridges and five sisi are allowed to be hunted through one registered hunting gun.
During the shooting season, the provincial government of Punjab usually lift ban over the partridges shooting which largely attract foreign and especially Arab hunters.
It should be mentioned that the higher authorities had imposed ban on the hunting of the bird, partridges, across the province of Punjab in order to combat the dwindling population.
Some governmental sources also revealed earlier that the government would lift the ban in several districts of Punjab.
