ISLAMABAD: Ousted principal of Pakistan International School in Jeddah and the Senator of Pakistan, Sehar Kamran, has commenced defamation moves against Pakistan in the Saudi Arabia just to save her foreign post.
The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) affiliated Senator Sehar Kamran reportedly refused to accept the decision of Pakistani ambassador in Jeddah after spending three weeks for handing over the post’s charge to newly appointed acting principal Imran Raza.
Kamran not only offended the ambassador’s decision but also made separate opposition group in the international school with help of her blue-eyed appointed educators.
The controversial member of upper house with dual nationality is on official leaves these days from the senate but reportedly availing it for the illegal moves damaging fame of Pakistan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
She is consistently urging the KSA’s Ministry of Education for not considering affiliation of the Pakistan International School with the country’s embassy, local newspaper reported.
However, the KSA’s education ministry officials have refused for helping her in the matter; resultantly created separate teachers’ group in the school for pressurising the authorities.
Seher Kamran offered the Pakistani consulate in Jeddah for taking back her removal notification as she would provide resignation by herself but the consulate and embassy rejected the offer and got firmed on the legal decision.
It should be mentioned that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senator, Muddasir Sehar Kamran, already get into the eyes of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) over receiving double salaries by holding dual governmental positions.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) took notice on violation of the country’s law by female senator Muddasir Sehar Kamran as she is keeping two posts at a time, sources said.
The PPP belonged senator was working as principal of Pakistan International School, the school running under the Pakistan Consulate in Jaddah, and keeping post of Senator in the country’s upper house as well as receiving double salaries from the National treasury.
The highest electoral commission took notice of the situation after receiving complains from Saudi Arabia and asked the Pakistan Consulate to submit report.
It should be mentioned, the leader allegedly attempted suicide over emerging of reports of her dual governmental posts.
Sources said that Maddasir Sehar Kamran was appointed on principal post in PPP tenure by former Pakistani ambassador in Saudi Arabia, Ali Sherzai, while the leader got senate membership by using influential relations with the political party’s significant personalities.
According to ECP and government’s rule and regulations, neither a person can receive double salaries from the national treasury nor a person can get membership of parliament after holding governmental post.
The complaints told the ECP that Muddasir Sehar Kamran allegedly converted the school into a political party’s office during PPP their where ministers and other people’s arrival is normal.
Sources revealed that the ECP initiated thorough investigation over provision of incorrect data by the leader while submission of nomination papers.
